A big hello to Kamran, who has joined the Energlab crew as a graduate sustainability consultant, having just completed his masters in Mechanical Engineering at the Uni of Leeds. Having experience in property development and being passionate by new renewable technologies and how they can be implemented anywhere, Kamran is a great addition to the team and we’re delighted to have him on board!
We asked Kamran a few questions to help you all get to him.
Tell me a little bit about you, your background.
I have just finished my masters in Mechanical Engineering at the Uni of Leeds, and moved down to London on Sunday.
What kind of work do you do for energylab?
I have been employed as a graduate sustainability consultant, assisting Mohanad and Yousef in providing sustainable strategies for our clients.
What do you like most about your work?
I have already seen a large variety in the developments we take on, so that is very exciting moving forward, tackling a range of challenges.
What made you want to join the lab_?
The lab_ seemed like it had a nice community feel with everyone having a common goal which was very enticing.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
Best advice I’ve ever been given is probably to be kind as you don’t always know how someone else’s day has been.
What would be your last meal on earth?
Zereshk polo (persian dish, rice with barberries and chicken)
If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
I would probably change guns, no guns would be quite nice.
